Microsoft Bing accounts for one quarter of all Internet searches - Experts say

The statistic experts over at Experian Hitwise have noted that Microsoft and their Bing search engine has slowly but surely been making tiny strides against the Google monolith. They are up to around 24% of the market share, hot on the heels of a recent partnership with Yahoo. This is definitely better than last year at around this time. Of course, it pales significantly to Google’s 71.6% marketshare. Hey, at least they are making strides no matter how small.
It bears mentioning that other analysts have the results tapered down even further, with the new Bing/Yahoo combo clocking in at 28.1% and Google falling down to around 65%.
