This Tuesday will mark another eventful patchday as Microsoft is set to unveil a series of major patches across a large swath of it’s product line. Windows and Office are receiving the lion’s share of these fixes, four major ones at last count. The company is trying to plug up a few vulnerabilities, sources say.

Microsoft XP Service Pack 3, Microsoft Office 2003 Service Pack 3, Microsoft Office 2007 Service Pack 2 , Outlook 2003 Service Pack 3 and Outlook 2007 Service Pack 2 all get Important patch updates. However, Outlook 2002 Service Pack 3 is on the Critical patch list. All versions of Windows XP will get a Critical patch, even Service Pack 3.
