SmartPick Backup, a  provider of data backup appliances and services, announced the release of version 2 of their SmartFiler Appliances. Version 1 already enabled offsite data backup of Exchange Server data, but the new iteration ntegrates SmartFiler Appliances with Symantec’s Backup Exec System Recovery product to enable offsite data backup of Exchange data without tapes.
