This has been a long time coming, but Microsoft has finally brought Exchange ActiveSync support to their Hotmail mail service. Users can now push their email straight to any phone that supports the functionality.

The feature set hasn’t officially been rolled out yet, but most users are reporting that it is working fine for them. So consider it a quiet roll out. Reports indicate that not every Hotmail account is serviced by the functionality yet, but that should be rectified shortly.
