Really nice no need to purchase domain so cost is even lower than others. ad few initial problems with control panel but ok now

I have been with Apps4Rent for about 5 months now. Its real value for money. The support and services has been good. I contacted support twice in these months and the response was quite quick. Once, I had to chat with them on Sep 4th. As per the chat guy they are 24 X 7 on chat; phone and e-mail.

The service they have provided till now is good. Initially, I just went to try as they have 30 days trial and never had to actually take my money back from them.

We have used http://www.apps4rent.com since 2007. We used a number of other web hosts prior to that. The control panel is great. apps4rent has excellent rates, support and communication with us. I have no reason to go anywhere else.

Their service has allowed our consulting company full access to our mailboxes and calendars from wherever we roam. I have personally used my BlackBerry in Singapore and Bangalore and have had great response times. I highly recommend this professional

This review is in regards to the reseller program. We had called prior to setup to ask if we would have our own URLs and if our clients would know that they are actually hosted by apps4rent. We were told no, they would have no idea and everything would be under there domain. After coutless hours on the phone and through email and being on hold we have found out, that was completly false. The clients will see they are hosted by apps4rent and you cannot use your urls. tpyical sales ploy, yes yes yes, we can do that for you, pay setup and find out you were just yessed to death. Their level 1 support can only do some much and you cannot speak with anyone else. Their support seems to be out in some call center outside the US, hard to understand. This was a big mistake.

Same story here. We are reseller. We were told that nothing was traceable. Now our customers can tell us that we are hosting through this crowd.

Support is extremely limited. I have no confidence in this crowd. I think all the above positives were written in house. Not the same company as I deal with anyway.

These idiots terminated by e-mail account for non-payment even though I was on auto-pay. They were sending me notices that there was a problem to an e-mail address that does not exist, so I was totally unaware that there was a problem until they shut down my e-mail account. Yes, you heard that right! They did not send me notices to my e-mail address, which I am paying them for! It’s not like they “did not have my e-mail address!”. WTF! Freak’n Losers! As a result of their incompetency I lost all of my e-mails, , history, my entire address book, etc. Everything! Then they had the “balls” to ask me for a $50 fee to reinstall my data from their backup server. Give them a call sometime. They are huddled up in a little room somewhere in India and you can actually hear rotary phones (yes, “rotary phones) ringing in the background. This makes understanding their poor English all the more difficult! Good luck with these guys . . . . . .

Tech support is a group of idiots. I’ve called 3 times about the same problem, am put on hold for at least 20min, and no solution is provided. I keep getting told that they’ll work on it and will email me a solution shortly. I’m guessing there is some confusion with the translation of the word “shortly” into english because I still have no email and no solution after 3 weeks.

Have been down most of the day for email. Support keeps telling me a few hours and we are now going into the 8th hour of little to no email. When email is working it has been delayed by 2-4 hours. They do offer a lot but the many times I have talked to support I get little in the way of actual help.

Beware of business with apps4rent
Those interested in doing business with Apps4rent may exercise caution before choosing them as business partner. We tried their exchange hosting service and found no professionalism, rather burnt our fingers.

Their refund policy does not mention that add-ons are non-refundable. However, once you cancel your subscription, they do not refund the amount.

It is worst to consider then as your service provider. Try them only if you are not serious about your business.

Reasons why we cancelled subscription:

1. Their infrastructure is not robust, nor fully setup. Example, no provision about company disclaimers or to restrict Outlook/OWA access

2. You try to chat with them as “Existing customer”, no one will attend you. At same time, you select in other window “new customer”, person named Zak will be present 24 hours to attend to you

3. No clear instructions about service

4. Policies pages clearly show that all clauses are copied.. You might want to check their term of use page

So, it is clear case of NO-NO.

We rather moved to Apptix and are quite happy.

I am an Apps4Rent Exchange hosting customer. I strongly recommend against using this service. I will be taking my service elsewhere as soon as their servers come back up and I can backup my data.

Exchange has been down for 2 business days now. I know that you can’t control the weather (storm took out their power), but there are well accepted Disaster Recovery strategies in the industry that would prevent this length of downtime (like failover servers that are geographically separated).

I notice that their sales web server seems to be using these DR strategies as it is still running without interruption from the storm.

I’ve been a customer of Apps4Rent for a few years, and until now had nothing much to complain about. Their website claims to have “multiple reliable data centers.. with 99.99% uptime.” Except, Hurricane Sandy just revealed that that was all a lie. They have been offline for nearly 80 hours now, their “live support” (contracted call center in India) has no idea on ETA on fixing. The hurricane isn’t their fault. Claiming to have multiple reliable data centers, when really they don’t, has permanently damaged my business. I have lost business in the several thousands of dollars due to my not being available to confirm via email new work that was then re-assigned to another contractor. No customer support. No communication. Deceitful advertising that puts my critical business communications at risk? Shame on Apps4Rent, I hope they go out of business. Maybe a class-action lawsuit would hurry up that process a bit.

seriously if you are looking to’ out Source your it forget this Company they have a nice 30 day money back guarantee. They suspended my account and charged my card for suspended service. I am in the process of asking for a refund ill update you on out comes seriously forget this company and go with microsoft.

Very unreliable hosted Exchange service.
We rolled out to our users across 5 states and we experience connectivity issues on a weekly basis. Even though each state has a different ISP, the Apps4Rent support blames the local ISP or firewalls. I dread calling support because they have never been able to help me and do not speak English well. Every time there is a storm in New Jersey, their data center goes offline, they have no backup location. According to their support documentation, they are purchasing their 2020 Exchange through Microsoft 365 and reselling the service as their own, only it is channeled through their unreliable network. I wish we had just went with Office 365 in the first place.
