Ceryx to Provide Guidance in Navigating the new S+S landscape at the Microsoft Partner Conference 2008

Posted by admin as Ceryx, Press Releases

TORONTO, July 8th, 2008 – Gus Harsfai, CEO and President of Ceryx Inc., will be part of the keynote presentation by Allison Watson at this year’s Worldwide Partner Conference (WWPC) in Houston. Harsfai will articulate to a collection of thousands of Microsoft partners from around the world, how they can thrive in the new Software plus Services ecosystem. Ceryx will also have a presence in the Microsoft Software plus Services (S+S) Pavilion and will be making multiple presentations, focusing on the options available to partners to resell the Ceryx solution, differentiate their offerings and build real value.

Ceryx has been closely involved with Microsoft’s entry into Software plus Services and views their presence in the market as complementary and positive news for all partners. Ceryx, who focuses on the complex Mid-market and Enterprise segments, believes Microsoft is going to create broader awareness of the Hosted Exchange and Hosted Application market and will create new opportunity for all partners.

“The partner ecosystem is changing rapidly”, says Harsfai. “The traditional Microsoft partner has always taken Microsoft products and created customized solutions while most SaaS providers have done the opposite and forced conformity on their user communities. With the S+S markets maturing, many customers are now saying one size does not fit all and those are the customers that need the versatility of the Ceryx platform.”

Ceryx will be presenting this week, on both Tuesday and Wednesday between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m. in the S+S Pavilion (Booth #875) and will be sharing their experience, developed from over 18 years in the industry, covering everything from common consideration when entering the S+S market, to the many options available to partners who are looking to get into this lucrative market. Those who attend will automatically be entered to win a free Mobile Device as well as complementary Hosted Exchange services.

Ceryx is a Gold Partner of Excellence with multiple competencies, including Hosting, Unified Messaging, Security and Mobility solutions. Ceryx also owns and operates ThinOffice, a white-label Exchange-based messaging solution for its partner channel.
