Connectria will provide and host a production IBM iSeries Model E4A server, which will be a 24/7 mission-critical environment that runs SPX’s core business operations. In addition to the primary iSeries server hosted within its St. Louis enterprise class data center, Connectria will be providing SPX Subscription Based iSeries Disaster Recovery Support services to ensure timely recovery. The iSeries Disaster Recovery solution will be based within Connectria’s Philadelphia data center.

Connectria’s flexibility in designing this iSeries Managed Hosting Solution was a key differentiator to SPX management. By providing a solution that included comprehensive iSeries support services to augment SPX’s staff, with Production and Disaster Recovery components governed by committed services levels at a fixed price, Connectria’s solution was selected. This engagement will also include Connectria’s engineering and migration expertise during the transition from SPX’s internal data center.
