Telecommunication Company Retires Lotus Notes and Becomes a Ceryx Customer and White-label Reseller
TORONTO, February 24th, 2009 – Ceryx, the leading provider of secure and reliable hosted and managed Microsoft® Exchange, today announced that reseller TBayTel has transitioned over 450 of its employees from their on-premise Lotus Notes environment onto Ceryx’s Hosted Exchange platform.
TBayTel , the largest independent Telecommunications company in Canada, provides voice, data and wireless service to an area of Northern Ontario spanning over 300,000 square kilometers. Through DirectIT, a division of the company that provides managed IT services, the company has been a white-label reseller of Ceryx’s Hosted Exchange solution since 2007.

Ceryx worked closely with TBayTel to provide tight integration with applications hosted on-site at TBayTel, including user synchronization between the Hosted Exchange environment and the Wallace Wireless™ Server being used for emergency BlackBerry communications.
