NTT Communications recently partnered with Microsoft Corporation to offer new hybrid cloud communications services. Under the terms of the new partnership, Biz Hosting Enterprise solution from NTT will be merged with Microsoft’s Windows Azure Platform.

Depending on business needs, clients can efficiently access computing resources by leveraging NTT Communications’ Biz Hosting Enterprise that utilizes Tier-III secure data centers as well as Microsoft’s Azure Platform. Moreover, seamless integration of on-site servers and software with the cloud service can be ensured using the Azure platform.

The new hybrid cloud service will include a secure, reliable private cloud communications platform deployed by NTT communication using robust data centers in Japan. With support from Microsoft, the platform makes use of advanced virtualization technology such as Hyper-V on Biz Hosting Enterprise’s Windows Server 2008 R2. Additionally, Exchange Server and SharePoint Server applications can be transplanted easily to this new platform.
