Splunk is back again! Splunk®, Inc., a provider of operational intelligence software, has kicked off .conf2011, its second annual worldwide users’ conference, at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. Major themes of the conference include Splunk’s use in Big Data and the Cloud. Sessions will highlight the wide uses of Splunk presented by customers such as the Department of Energy, General Electric, Salesforce.com, Staples, Expedia and Cricket Communications. Pretty good lineup, guys.

At .conf2011 Splunk users will learn new ways to maximize their investment in Splunk software. More than 50 sessions will be led by customers, partners and Splunk staff, all aimed at broadening the use of Splunk to solve a range of IT issues and provide Operational Intelligence across entire organizations.
