ArcelorMittal, one of the biggest steel companies in the world, have recently made the switch to Microsoft Exchange 2010. They will be migrating all of their messaging systems to the server under a five-year outsourcing deal with Indian IT services company Wipro Technologies. The system will be hosted at six Wipro datacentres.

“This is vital for us as today’s communication and collaboration is highly dependent on this service,” said Patrick Vandenberghe, group CIO at ArcelorMittal.

Wipro Technologies has also done the same thing recently for International banking conglomerate Citibank.
