“Our goal is to simplify the solution for our customers and for our resellers, which will drive more value and will speed the implementation,” Dorr said.

It all boils down to capacity licensing.

“One of the key foundation items in the bundle is new capacity data management licensing,” Dorr said. “It’s a very systemized licensing approach we began to implement nine months back, that allows the end user to not have to track licensing use, just the front end terabytes. We let customers make as many copies and retain them as long as they want for no additional charge.”
